Before I found Dr. Wyche’s tomatillo, I never enjoyed eating a tomatillo out of hand like an apple. This sweet prolific producer of yellow 1-2″ fruits changed that. Eat it like an apple or make it into salsa. It is all delicious! This variety was developed by the late Dr. John Wyche of Hugo, Oklahoma. He was co-owner of the Cole Brothers Circus and founding member of Seed Savers Exchange. Notably he was known to fertilize his mountain top terraced gardens with elephant manure. Bulk available.
