An Icelandic poppy, Papaver nudicale these flowers are a hardy perennial that originated in the artic regions of North America. Easy to grow from seed Icelandic poppies are one of the only poppies that tolerates being transplanted. Cold hardy, it can survive winters as cold as -20 degrees F.
