This Okra is a known heat lover but this variety has consistently done well for us outdoors at our high elevation. Amazing considering our cool nights and short growing season! It produces long pods with beautiful hibiscus flowers on plants that are short in stature for an okra. Ours grew to about 3 feet in height. The pods have a sweet flavor and seem less mucilaginous than other okra we have tried. They are best picked at 3-6” in length. We are happy to have found this variety through Southern Exposure Seed Company. 50 days to maturity.
