We recommend placing it somewhere you regularly walk by so that you can take in its incredible scent. Has hairy silver green leaves and produces delicate small lavender flowers. The leaf bracts are more showy; delicate purple to mauve pink creating a dramatic display. Great as a border plant. Commonly used in aromatherapy. Clary sage will not bloom until the second season creating a rosette of leaves the first year. After established it is a short lived perennial surviving for about 3 years in the garden. Will self sow.
