This Japanese cucumber is a vigorous producer of long slender cucumbers with thin skin. We have grown this variety for many years for farmers markets and have been continually impressed by its production over a long period of time as well as its fresh sweet flavor. Our customers love them! Last year this variety proved to be resistant to grasshoppers, producing bitter free cucumbers all year until frost. Another stand out characteristic of this variety is that it maintains its sweet crisp flavor even when picked at a large size. For best sweetness and quality it is best picked at 8” or smaller.

Trellising is recommended to achieve uniform and straight cucumbers.
