Swedish Red Soup Pea

 This incredibly vigorous and productive marrow fat pea produces delicious Cabernet-colored peas. While it is later to mature, it seems to show some heat tolerance by continuing to set pods.

It has quickly become a staple in our winter kitchen. When cooked it makes a hearty, meaty, umami-flavored soup and turns a chocolatey brown color. Delicious and nutritious!
