Tashkent Marigold

Tagetes patula

Garden Essential | Beneficial Insect Plant | Small Bush Habit

Annual. Our absolute favorite marigold! We put them at the ends of garden beds and use them as border plants.  A French type, it creates beautiful mounds of deep red velvety blossoms with yellow centers and deep green foliage. Bushes are about 1 foot around and 1 foot high. Originally from seed collecter Bob Bell who collected it outside an old Muslim school in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
