Very Drought Tolerant Grain | 105 Days to Maturity

Warm season annual grass that grows 3 -4 ft. Most commonly cultivated for its small edible seeds. Wildly adapted to many conditions from marginal soils and waterlogged areas to drought conditions. Will not germinate in cool soils. Has a shallow root system with extensive and fibrous roots. Some varieties are adaptable from sea level to 10,500 ft. Used for making injera in Ethiopia. Can be used for making bread or delicious hot cereal.
