This eye-catching flower brings a splash of vibrancy to the garden. Painted Tongue has trumpet-like flowers, somewhat reminiscent of petunias but with prominent butterfly wing-like vein patterns giving it a mesmerizing appearance on close inspection. Quick growing annuals, these plants grow to about 2 feet tall producing flowers with hues per flower ranging from purples with yellow, salmon colors with yellow, and hot pink. On the farm, we lovingly call this flower “dragon tongue.”
