Armenian Tomato (heirloom)

Price range: $4.95 through $34.80

Solanum lycopersicum

Complex Flavor | Juicy | Indeterminate

Rare. This bicolor heirloom from Armenia is streaked with red and yellow. It packs big flavor and big fruits. Wow, the aftertaste is insane— salty, umami, complex, and really indescribable. A juicy, meaty tomato with savory flavor that lends itself well to sandwiches, salads or just eaten on its own with a dollop of good ol’ mayonnaise! Indeterminate growth habit.

An Armenian heirloom originally from tomato collector Charlotte Mullens of West Virginia.
